🏷Please tag someone who’s looking to get in shape but has no clue where to start! IMHO this is the single best workout for beginners. You’ll build muscle, burn fat, boost metabolism, improve posture, enhance performance, fortify the joints, and upgrade your cardiovascular conditioning.
🤦♂️If I was 14 years old and had to do it all over again, I definitely would NOT have started with the barbell bench press, squat, and deadlift. I would focus on mastering these 10 low-risk, high-return exercises that you can perform anytime, anywhere instead.
📝Perform this workout 3x per week with at least a day of rest between workouts. Pick a move from each of the 5 movement pattern categories outlined below to build a total body circuit. Perform each move for 10-20 reps or 30-60 seconds of work with 30-60 seconds of rest between moves. Start with just 1-2 rounds of this circuit in the first week or two. Gradually build up to 4-6 rounds over time.
