3-MINUTE MANSTRINGS MASSACRE from BJ Gaddour, former Men's Health fitness director and MetaShred creator!
The hamstrings have 2 main functions: flexing the knees & extending the hips. You can kill 2 birds with one stone with the sliding leg curl and this simple but deadly pump & burn routine! Plus, this move is much easier on your spine than deadlifts, it builds your butt, and it has a high functional carryover to running/sprinting. I’m using a slideboard from Ultraslide but you can modify with fitness or furniture sliders on carpet or turf or socks or paper plates on a wooden floor.
Perform each move back-to-back-to-back for max quality reps in a minute:
1. 1-Leg Sliding Leg Curls- Left/Weak Side
2. 1-Leg Sliding Leg Curls- Right/Strong Side
3. 2-Leg Sliding Leg Curls
That’s 1 round. Do a single round as a starter or finisher. If you do multiple rounds, rest at least 2 minutes between rounds.
