Offset loading is a great way to obliterate your obliques and crush your core. Pick 2 kettlebells, one lighter and one heavier. I’m using a 53-pound bell for the lighter load and a 72-pound bell for the heavier load in the videos. You want about a 15-30% difference between the loads so that you can still maintain high tension while fighting the tilting and turning forces around your spine. This circuit is truly where shred meets gainz!
There’s a built-in warmup. Perform each move for a minute with 30 seconds of rest between moves:
1. Offset Marching Farmer’s Walk- Left Heavy, Right Light
2. Offset Marching Farmer’s Walk- Right Heavy, Left Light
3. High-Low Squat- Left Heavy, Right Light
4. High-Low Squat- Right Heavy, Left Light
5. Offset High-Low Overhead Presses- Left Low Heavy, Right High Light
6. Offset Hip-Hinge + Rows- Left Light, Right Heavy
7. Offset High-Low Overhead Presses- Right Low Heavy, Left High Light
8. Offset Hip-Hinge + Rows Right Light, Left Heavy
9. Walking Lunges- Left Heavy, Right Light
10. Walking Lunges- Right Heavy, Left Light
That’s 1 round that takes 15 minutes to complete. Do a single round as a starter or finisher. Do 2-4 rounds for a full workout, resting 1-2 minutes between rounds.
