Throughout the past few years, the Nissan Pathfinder has seen some dramatic changes as it moved from rugged, off-road-ready SUV to a more cushiony crossover. Following a relatively dramatic restyling in 2017, we anticipate the 2018 Pathfinder being essentially a carryover. No major changes are expected to the recently refreshed Pathfinder body. While familiar, the latest iteration has plenty of details that make it stand out from the previous model. The changes include an all-new nose as well as new sheet metal, body lines, headlights, and grille. Inside, the changes include a new infotainment system, standard Advanced Drive-Assist Display, updated cloth seats, and more. Powering the new Pathfinder will likely be the same revised 3.5-liter V6 as the current model. This engine is rated at 284 horsepower and 259 pound-feet of torque and mates with the third-generation Xtronic continuously variable transmission that delivers power to either the front wheels or all four wheel via Nissan’s All-Mode 4x4-i system new 2017_2018
