The Sao Paulo Auto Show is ongoing and Hyundai is making the best of it. After debuting the facelifted Hyundai Creta, the South Korean carmaker has showcased a pickup concept, called the Hyundai Creta STC (Sport Truck Concept) at the show. The Hyundai Creta STC is based on the Creta and is a concept. This unibody pickup is targeted at younger generation customers and has been designed in South Korea, at Hyundai's Design Centre. The Hyundai Creta STC sports 21-inch wheels fitted with Pirelli tyres, LED headlights, and aggressive, yet sporty looking bumpers. Hyundai has also treated the STC pickup with chrome accents on the exterior. In terms of dimension, the Creta STC measures 4.65 meters in length, 1.85 meters wide, 1.63 meters tall, and the wheelbase measures 2.80 meters. The cabin has adequate space for occupants and the rear opening tailgate door allows access to 850 litres of storage. The Hyundai Creta STC is still in pure concept form and will remain so for a while, unless Hyundai thinks otherwise. Engine options are also unknown at the moment and if Hyundai decides to put the STC to production, it could feature a 1.6 or a 2.0-litre engine. Also, if the Hyundai creta STC pickup is put to production, the vehicle will compete with other pickups in the category such as the Renault Duster Oorch and the Fiat Toro. Stay tuned to us for more updates from the ongoing Sao Paulo Auto Show.
